Costco Account Manager

Position Description
We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Costco Account Manager to support the growth and execution of Blueair's Costco business. This role will manage day-to-day account operations while serving as a key liaison between Costco and internal teams to drive sales performance, promotional execution, forecasting accuracy, and assortment planning. The ideal candidate brings experience managing key retail accounts, strong analytical capabilities, and a passion for building collaborative customer relationships. Working closely with sales leadership, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams, the Account Manager will help develop and execute growth strategies, deliver strong business results, and ensure exceptional customer service.

Our team is hybrid, and this role requires applicants to live within commuting distance of Bellevue and work from our Bellevue coworking space Tuesday–Thursday each week. At Blueair, you'll be part of a global team with creative minds collaborating from around the world. We work across time zones, so some flexibility in working hours is part of the adventure.
Responsibilities and Functions
Account Management & Customer Relationships
Manage day-to-day communication and business activities with Costco buyers and merchandising teams.
Support the development and execution of annual account plans and joint business planning initiatives.
Build strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities to expand distribution, assortment, and sales performance.
Prepare customer presentations, business reviews, and performance updates.
Partner with sales leadership on buyer meetings, line reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
Commercial Execution
Manage promotional planning and execution, ensuring alignment across internal stakeholders and customer expectations.
Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, forecasts, and replenishment metrics to support business growth.
Analyze sell-through data, member insights, and category trends to identify opportunities and risks.
Coordinate new product launches, seasonal programs, and assortment changes with Costco and internal teams.
Track key account KPIs including revenue, margin, promotional performance, and inventory health.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with marketing teams to develop customer-specific programs and merchandising opportunities.
Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure accurate forecasting, inventory availability, and service levels.
Work closely with finance teams on pricing, promotional investments, and profitability analysis.
Coordinate with product and innovation teams to support assortment planning and launch readiness.
Reporting & Analysis
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, sales budgets and account reporting.
Deliver regular business performance updates and recommendations to management.
Utilize data and analytics to support customer discussions and drive informed decision-making.
Identify process improvements that enhance account performance and operational efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
4–7 years of experience in retail sales, account management, or customer development.
Experience managing national retail accounts; specifically, Costco or other club channel retailers
Strong analytical skills with experience using sales, inventory, and customer performance data to drive decisions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and sales reporting tools.
Must reside within commuting distance of Bellevue.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in consumer electronics, home appliances, consumer health, or related durable goods categories.
Familiarity with joint business planning, assortment planning, and promotional management.
Experience working within a global organization.
Pay: The base salary pay range for this position is $125,000-$145,000 per year. Blueair takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
