Position Description:
The Associate Product Marketing Manager supports the management and growth of a product portfolio within the North American market. This role contributes to marketing positioning, innovation localization, channel portfolio planning, new product launches, and product lifecycle management.
This role sits within Blueair's Product Marketing (PROM) team and works closely with the Senior NA Product Manager, Innovation Managers, Sales, Trade Marketing, and Global cross-functional partners to land winning product strategies in market.
Responsibilities:
Product Portfolio Ownership
Support the North American product marketing strategy and NPD roadmap for an assigned channel that align with Blueair’s strategic growth pillars.
Assist in the development and execution of go-to-market (GTM) plans
Coordinate channel initiatives as part of the annual business plan, including SKU extensions, commercial alignment activities, and project management support to ensure on-time execution.
Support product lifecycle management activities for the assigned channel, including launch readiness and Phase-In/Phase-Out (PIPO) planning.
Monitor portfolio performance and provide recommendations to support sustainable growth and profitability.
Serve as the product expert and primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for the assigned channel.
Provide product training and launch support to cross-functional teams and customer-facing partners.
Innovation Launch Management
Support launch execution for new product introductions (NPIs) and line extensions within the assigned channel, helping ensure launches are delivered on time and aligned with business objectives.
Assist with post-launch evaluations and contribute to quarterly portfolio performance reviews.
Partner with the Global Product Marketing managers to regionalize new concepts for the NA market.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance Supply Chain, Brand and Legal teams to plan and execute launches.
Market Intelligence & Consumer Insights
Conduct competitor, category, and market trend analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
Translate consumer and market insights into product recommendations and requirements for U.S. and Canadian consumers.
Support the development of business cases and recommendations for portfolio opportunities.
Pricing & Channel Strategy
Support Product Channel Pricing (PCP) management for the assigned portfolio in partnership with Sales.
Support annual channel planning for key retailer and customer engagement.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in product marketing or product management in a B2C environment, consumer durables or CPG categories is required.
Demonstrated experience owning a product portfolio or category, including launch management and lifecycle decisions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market and data analysis into actions
Solid commercial acumen with experience developing business cases or managing product-level P&Ls.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous workstreams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to leadership.
High degree of independence, resourcefulness, and personal accountability.
Pay: The base salary pay range for this position is $100,000-$125,000 per year. Blueair takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
