Senior Financial Analyst

Position Description:
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team, supporting the finance function across our air wellness product portfolio. This role serves as a critical finance business partner to three commercial channels: Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), Marketing, and Sales. The ideal candidate brings exceptional financial modeling expertise, a meticulous attention to detail, and a continuous-improvement mindset. You must be comfortable and effective at translating complex data into actionable insight that drives profitable growth.

What You’ll Do
Commercial Finance Business Partnership Support
• Serve as a supporting finance partner, with the FP&A manager, to DTC, Marketing, and Sales Promotions teams, providing financial guidance and decision support across all commercial planning cycles.
• Analyze and evaluate DTC channel performance including e-commerce, and subscription programs; identify revenue and margin optimization opportunities.
• Partner with the FP&A Manager/Marketing team to build ROI frameworks, track campaign spend and efficiency, and evaluate trade and consumer promotion investments across Blueair’s product lines.
• Assist FP&A Manager in supporting the Sales team by modeling deal economics, evaluating promotional lift scenarios, and tracking net revenue impact against plan.
• Help translate commercial strategy into financial plans, advising cross-functional stakeholders on trade-offs and implications of business decisions.
Financial Modeling & Advanced Analytics
• Assist FP&A manager with building, maintaining, and continuously improving financial models including revenue forecasting, margin bridge analysis, promotional ROI, and scenario/sensitivity analysis.
• Assist with developing driver-based models that connect to P&L outcomes across product categories.
• Involvement with monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes for assigned commercial functions; synthesize actuals vs. plan variance analysis with clear narrative.
• Design dynamic templates and dashboards that bring financial transparency to commercial teams; automate recurring reporting
Reporting, Insight & Storytelling
• Assist with preparing high-quality reporting packages for leadership, outlining financial performance across DTC, Marketing, and Sales with clear commentary.
• Conduct analyses on product line profitability, consumer channel economics, and marketing spend effectiveness.
• Monitor SKU-level and category-level trends; surface risks and opportunities with data-driven recommendations.
• Contribute to ad hoc strategic analyses as required by leadership.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
• Work with FP&A Manager to proactively identify inefficiencies in existing FP&A processes and reporting workflows; design and implement scalable, repeatable solutions.
• Contribute to finance transformation initiatives including planning tool enhancements, data integrity improvements, and automation of manual processes.
• Help to establish and enforce data governance standards across finance reporting to ensure accuracy, consistency, and auditability.
• Document standard operating procedures for planning cycles and reporting routines; cross-train team members to build organizational resilience.
• Partner with IT, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to improve data pipelines and source-system integrations that feed FP&A models.
What You’ll Bring
Must Haves
2–5 years of experience in FP&A, Finance, Accounting, or Consulting
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Experience in CPG, DTC, eCommerce, or related industries is a plus
Key Skills
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple data sources
Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders
Strong attention to detail with a curiosity-driven mindset
Proficiency in Excel (required); experience with ERP or BI tools is a plus
Pay: The base salary pay range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000 per year. Blueair takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
