North America Supply Planner

Position Description
The North America Supply Planner is a hands-on, high-impact individual contributor role responsible for running supply planning across the North American region. This role reports to the Chief Supply Chain Officer and partners closely with the NA Demand Planner, Sales, Product Marketing, global supply chain teams, and 3PL partners. The NA Supply Planner owns the end-to-end NA supply plan - from rolling forecasts and PO placement to inventory optimization and dashboard reporting. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, operationally rigorous, and energized by building structure in a dynamic, growing environment.
We believe that we’re better together. Our team is hybrid and requires applicants to live commuting distance from a Blueair office (NYC or Chicago Loop) and be in-office Tuesday-Thursday.

Responsibilities and Functions
Own North America Supply Planning
Develop and maintain rolling 12-month supply plans for North America
Maintain accurate weekly supply and demand views, including inbound inventory by week and projected demand
Publish reliable inventory snapshots and reporting for Sales and Product Marketing
Partner with inbound freight providers and 3PL teams to manage inventory arrival timelines and resolve exceptions
Ensure alignment between supply positioning and commercial priorities
Manage Purchase Orders with Global Supply Team
Propose, align, and place POs as part of the monthly planning cycle, with weekly analysis and adjustments as needed
Collaborate with the global supply chain team to expedite, defer, or allocate POs based on demand volatility
Work in close coordination with the NA Demand Planner to ensure supply plans reflect updated forecasts
Document decision rationale and maintain clear audit trails across planning cycles
Drive Systems & Process Improvement
Partner with the Power BI data analyst to build planning automation and dashboard reporting
Develop and maintain a consolidated Power BI workspace with defined roles and responsibilities
Standardize supply planning workflows, documentation, and exception management playbooks
Improve reconciliation processes between monthly and weekly planning tools
Own & Report Key Supply Metrics
Take accountability for tracking, reporting, and driving performance across:
Inventory value
Months of cover
Days on hand
Pallet storage quantity
Out-of-stock (OOS) rate
Continuously optimize inventory availability while balancing working capital and holding costs.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Haves
3-7 years of experience in supply planning or operations in a hands-on analytical role
Experience managing multiple SKUs across multiple warehouse locations
Strong Excel and data analysis skills
Practical PO and inventory planning experience; confident making and documenting expedite, defer, and allocation recommendations
ERP experience (NetSuite preferred)
Ability to manage structured project execution across US and China time zones
Strong documentation and reconciliation mindset - you leave processes better than you found them
Clear communicator with the ability to align cross-functional stakeholders
Nice-to-Haves
Experience supporting Amazon 1P or large omni-channel retail customers
Experience in consumer goods or durable goods environments
Exposure to international sourcing, particularly Asia-based manufacturing
Ability to connect operational data to P&L or margin models (e.g., SKU-level landed cost or contribution analysis)
Pay: The base salary pay range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 per year. Blueair takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
