Finance Lead – Global Performance

We believe that we’re better together. Our team is hybrid and requires applicants to live commuting distance from a Blueair office (NYC or Chicago Loop) and be in-office Tuesday-Thursday.

Position Description:
The Finance Lead – Global Performance plays a critical role in driving financial planning, forecasting, and performance management across global operations. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective overhead management, and strategic insights that support business decision-making. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and sits within the global finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Lead monthly and weekly global reporting processes
- Consolidate and submit global forecasts to Leadership, Unilever, and stakeholders as required
- Prepare variance analyses across global financials and partner with regional business partners to provide insight across the P&L and Balance Sheet
- Consolidate and manage global Cash Flow forecast in partnership with regional business partners
- Manage overhead forecast processes for multiple global business entities, overall and by department, including North America, EMEA and APAC regions, including IT, PROM, HR, and R&D budgets
Performance Management & Reporting
- Prepare and present financial performance materials for leadership meetings, company-wide meetings, performance management reviews, and board presentations.
- Develop and maintain the Global Overheads Scorecard and support global overheads consolidation to identify areas of business risk or opportunity
- Support global sales and operations processes and region-specific P&L analysis
Business Partnering & Strategic Support
- Collaborate with HR, IT, R&D, and Product Marketing teams to manage accruals and budget alignment
- Provide financial support for business decisions with P&L and Cash Flow impact
- Support annual strategic planning process
Compliance & Controls
- Oversee monthly balance sheet reconciliations for related Overhead accounts
- Approve overhead-related expense submissions and credit card transactions
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial data to internal systems (e.g., iFinance)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a global or matrixed environment
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial systems (NetSuite) and Excel
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Cross functional business acumen and ability to adapt to changing market dynamics
Pay: The base salary pay range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 per year. Blueair takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
